Church & Community Ministries

Church and Community Ministries of the Tennessee Baptist Convention are committed to assisting associations, churches, and individuals in meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of their communities. Now more than ever, Tennessee Baptists are responding to God's call to meet these needs. Church and Community Ministries help increase awareness, develop strategies, provide resources, train volunteers, and connect people to address the issues that challenge our communities.

  • Strengthen Existing Community Ministries
  • Train Community Ministry Leaders and Volunteers
  • Connect Churches and Individuals with Community Needs
  • Provide Financial and Material Resources to Churches and Community Ministries
  • Increase Need Awareness
  • Coordinate Church and Community Mission Experiences
  • Distribute Hunger Funds
  • Start New Churches through Ministry Evangelism

Church and Community Ministries of the Tennessee Baptist Convention works in cooperation with the North American Mission Board and the Southern Baptist Convention. Funding is provided through gifts to the Cooperative Program, the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions, and the SBC World Hunger Fund.
