Are you ready to change your world? A missions adventure is awaiting you…
The Volunteer Missions team is here is to help Tennessee Baptists locate and participate in the missions adventure.

Italy is known for good food, scenery, history and art. But the work among the evangelical church in Italy is slow and struggling. Many towns of 50,000 or more have no evangelical witness at all. In fact, evangelicals make up about 350,000 of the over 60 million population or about half of one percent. A child born in China is five times more likely to become a follower of Christ than a child born in Italy. The challenge is sharing the Gospel with people who have more trust in the traditions of the church than the truth of the Gospel. Many Italians were taught in the Catholic tradition, but less than 15% attend mass on a regular basis. Tennessee churches are encouraged to adopt a town or a neighborhood with little to no evangelical witness.
Buenos Aires Partnership:
Buenos Aires is the second largest metropolitan area in South America. Almost 14 million people live in the greater Buenos Aires area. But, throughout the entire city, there is only one evangelical church for every 15,000 people, and only one Baptist church for every 70,000 people. So while these are the least reached areas of the city, even the most reached areas still have great spiritual need.
Greater Cincinnati & Dayton, OH Partnership:
It's in the heartland of America, and yet there is only one Southern Baptist church in Cincinnati for every 59,000 people. God has called church planters to this city to share Jesus with people who don't know Him. Now, those church planters need your help.

The epitome of Western Independence, Denver holds sway with tremendous influence over the entire state and region. But Denver has the same challenges of any urban center. The darkness of sin is evident in tragedies like the memory of Columbine and the rawness of the Aurora theater massacres. The Southern Baptist church-to-population ratio for City of Denver is 1 to 52,855. A vital need for planting new churches exists between the urban core and the suburbs. All kinds of younger adults, who have spiritual curiosities and needs, are settling into these zones. There is tremendous need in this forgotten area of the city.

Please note the following procedures that will be used:
The contact person's name and phone number will be listed with a brief description of the projects. The prospective volunteer will call this person for additional information and to indicate their desire to complete the project. (Note: You are giving permission to us to list the contact person's name and number by placing such information on the form. Please verify with the person whose name you are listing that they give you permission to do this.)
Once a volunteer has picked up your project, please contact our office and indicate this. Until you notify us that the project has been accepted we will continue to promote the project.
We will cease to promote the project two months before the date of assignment or on the date you indicate on the form. (Note: You will have a much better opportunity for your project to be picked up if you submit the request at least six months to one year before the actual project date.)
