Tennessee Baptist Convention
Appalachian Regional Ministry
Appalachian Regional Ministries (ARM) is a partnership of 12 states in the Appalachian region (Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia) which are tied together by certain economic, political, and sociological factors, and united around common missions strategies. In Tennessee, ARM reaches across 33 counties and 28 Baptist Associations in an intentional missions response to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of people in the Appalachian region. ARM comes along side existing Baptist associations and churches to resource and accelerate missions development, church growth, and the coordinated mobilization of missions volunteers.
