This course provides instruction on advanced personal protection and captivity survival, as well as advanced practices for faith-based travelers going on medium or elevated-risk area. This course also provides instruction in various areas of team leadership and team development as applies to building, educating and leading teams on short term and other missions projects. This course provides skills for trip planning, trip risk assessment and mitigation, as it applies to teams and takes the next step in team leadership development. Students participate in table top exercises, role plays, team evaluations and self-examination of skills and team needs. This course is designed for those leading short-term teams and those in outreach efforts. The tools provided are designed to help in leading and developing a team that is functional and supporting to the team leader.
