Ministry Project

2017-2018

Our ministry project will benefit City Reach Knoxville. City Reach is a partnership between the Tennessee Baptist Convention and Tennessee’s five largest Baptist associations that connects churches from across Tennessee with churches and ministries in those associations. The goal is to serve others and reach people for Christ. Why the cities?

  • Tennessee’s population: 6.5 million
  • Five cities population: 1.8 million
  • Five cities metro-area population: 5 million
  • Global people groups: 146
  • Overwhelming physical needs

Reaching our largest cities with the gospel will spiritually impact the entire state. The emphasis for Knoxville is 2017-2018. Items collected will be utilized at various ministry sites across Knoxville and the surrounding area.

We are collecting full-size deodorant, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brushes, toilet paper and tissues. Drop off items at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on Friday or Saturday.
