Step One: Complete the pre-application and begin the process of becoming a Tennessee Summer Missionary!
After you have completed and submitted the pre-application, you may move on to Step Two: Position Application.
Please be careful to select the correct application link. Students applying for international positions outside of the 2018 Send TN Missions International Opportunities should select the IMB Application. If you are unsure if your desired opportunity is a Send TN opportunity, read the list here.
Step Three: Background Check
Prior to placement, the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board will conduct a background check. You will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon receipt of the email please proceed to the online background check form and complete this step in the Send TN Missions application process as soon as possible.
**If you are applying for an IMB Partnership position you can skip this step.**
Step Four: Wait Patiently
When all information has been completed, your application will be reviewed by the Collegiate Missions Selections Committee. Once reviewed and cleared, you will receive an e-mail invitation with details about attending the Missions Selection Weekend in the days following the application deadline which is February 4, 2018. The Weekend is held on February 16-17, 2018 in Nashville, TN.
There will be a mandatory orientation weekend for all appointed summer missionaries on May 23-25, 2018 at Linden Valley Conference Center. You will receive more information about this after being appointed as a summer missionary.
