 ETHNIC CHURCH PLANTING
The Language Missions Ministry seeks to provide every person in our state from another language, culture or religious background with the opportunity to hear, understand and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to grow in their faith in Christ. The TBC has various approaches that can be used in assisting churches and associations in our state to reach ethnic people for Christ.
HOW WE CAN ASSIST YOU
Laser Thrust
The Laser is a 2-3 survey conducted in your community by TBC trained consultants for the purpose of determining its ethnic people groups as, their needs and ways in which your church can minister to them.
Church Planting
If your church feels led to sponsor a new church start among a particular ethnic group the TBC can assist you with the process of determining the need, developing a strategy, discovering a potential church planter and in some cases provide financial assistance in starting the new church.
Language Resources
The TBC can provide on a limited number of Bibles, evangelistic tracts and other possible resources in various languages for reaching and ministering to ethnic people in your community.
Teaching English Language Learners
Teaching immigrant people how to speak conversational English is a very effective way to reach out and minister across language and cultural boundaries. The TBC provides workshops across the state at different times and locations for starting and English Ministry in your local church.
Deaf Ministry
The TBC provides some resources and training for reaching out to minister to Deaf and Hard of Hearing in your community.
Apologetic Evangelism
Materials and conferencing are available upon request for learning about non-Christian religions as well as practical approaches in witnessing to people of other faith backgrounds.
