Positions:     

Harvest Field Team Leader / Single Church Staff Specialist

Primary Function:
Responsible for leading the Harvest Field team to carry out the mission and vision of the TBC in a way that assists the churches to be more effective in reaching, baptizing, and discipling more people than ever before.  Responsible for working with single staff church leaders across the state and coordinating that work with the on-going work of the 5 major task force teams of the TBC.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or degree from a Southern Baptist theological seminary preferred with 7 or more years of experience in ministry and evangelism.

 

Harvest Field Team Leader / Church Revitalization Specialist

Primary Function: Responsible for leading the Harvest Field team to carry out the mission and vision of the TBC in a way that assists the churches to be more effective in reaching, baptizing, and discipling more people than ever before.  Responsible for leading the Church Revitalization Task Force Team in creating and implementing a state-wide revitalization strategy for Tennessee Baptist churches.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or degree from a Southern Baptist theological seminary preferred with 7 or more years of experience in ministry and evangelism.

 

Tennessee Woman’s Missionary Union is seeking a woman to fill the position of Executive Director-Treasurer who has a strong call to missions discipleship.  She must be experienced in all aspects of WMU, an active member of a Southern Baptist church, a woman of vision with strong people skills, and be a relationship builder.  The candidate must be willing to work with personnel and volunteers in churches and associations.  Responsibilities require her to have administrative and financial skills.  To apply send resume to Phyllis Cobb, Chair, TENNESSEE WMU Executive Director-Treasurer Search Committee, 101 Runnymeade Drive, Springfield, TN 37172 and complete the application.  Contact the TN WMU office for answers to questions or to be referred to the committee (800-558-2090). Collegiate Ministries Specialist, East TN State University

Primary Function:  To develop and lead Collegiate Ministries for Tennessee Baptists within the community of Johnson City, TN.  Responsible for developing local campus ministry programs in cooperation with local Baptist associations and churches.

Qualifications:
Experience leading collegiate ministry within a university setting, focusing on evangelism, discipleship/leadership, missions, and ministry.

Master of Divinity or MACE degree preferred, experience in higher education ministry, and working knowledge of not-for-profit organizational leadership, preferred.


Receptionist - 24 hours/week (job share)        

Primary Function:
Greet Guests and callers to the Baptist Center in a Christ-like spirit, providing them with both warm hospitality and viable information.  Assist with clerical functions as needed.

Skills Needed:  Warm smile!  Previous office experience preferred.  Good organizational and administrative skills, good people skills, and dependability needed.  Proficient use of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, and Word.
