Resources for Your Ministry

Mississippi River Ministry of Tennessee's objective is "to facilitate ministry in West Tennessee among poverty groups."

If your church or association can answer "yes" to the following two questions, then MRM of TN can help you:

1. Is your Southern Baptist church or association located in West Tennessee?

2. Does your project for which you are seeking assistance/resources meet physical and/or spiritual needs of those affected by poverty in your community?

Volunteers

Regional MRM publishes a directory of projects that is sent to associations throughout the country to inform potential mission teams of needs in the area. Requests are due each September to be included in the following year's directory, but will be accepted at any time.

The requests in Tennessee are also listed on the TBC Volunteer Missions pages.

Tennessee's State Missions Offering, the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions includes an allocation for MRM each year.  West TN churches and associations may apply for these monies by filling out a request form. You may download a copy of the MRM Request Form for Golden Offering Funds below.

Complete and submit the MRM Material Donations Request Form below so that we can make your needs known online and through the MRM project directory. You can download the request form below.

A Community Needs Assessment  is a vital step in developing a meaningful ministry in your community.  If you need assistance in planning one in your community, contact MRM.
