Montana / Tennessee Partnership

Objective:

 

The purpose of the partnership missions covenant is to demonstrate God’s love by effectively presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ through agreed-upon volunteer strategies and projects.

 

Priorities

 

  • Mutual prayer support and spiritual growth
  • Healthy church starts
  • Joint missions and evangelism efforts
  • Mutual ministry support
  • Leadership training to develop healthy churches
  • Interaction among state convention personnel

     

 

Facts about Montana:

 

  • Fourth largest state geographically
  • Montana is an amazing western collage of cowboys, ranchers, farmers, Native Americans, professionals, young, and old alike
  • Majority have no relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Home to a variety of language groups. Among them are those who speak Koren, tribal dialects and the deaf community.
  • One of the state nicknames is the “Treasure State”
  • Home to 7 different Indian reservations

 


Tennessee WMU
began a partnership with Montana State Baptist Women beginning in March, 2006. The best way to begin this partnership is to learn about Montana and to pray.


Prayer Request
: pray for revival to come to Montana. This vast western state has never experienced revival.
