Focusing on a variety of matters in the life of the pastor that drives him to “Run on Empty,” the banquet will feature one speaker who will develop a theme that amplifies our need to “refuel” regularly in prayer and solitude. The speaker is Dr. Roger “Sing” Oldham, TBMB Specialist, who will speak on why “refueling” in ministering is essential for the mental and spiritual health of the pastor, his family, and his congregation.

The banquet will include a time of fellowship around the table, a marriage enrichment moment, door prizes, a message of encouragement designed to help equip for pastoral service, worship through music, and a time of focused prayer. This banquet is provided as a cooperative ministry of the host Associations, Tennessee Valley and Hamilton County Baptist Associations and the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.
