Let’s Go – Telling the Good News to Everyone
JAM, one-day missions event for children in grades 1-6 and children’s leaders. Children will experience worship and hands-on missions learning opportunities while meeting missionaries and learning what it means to love Jesus and share His love with others! Children will experience the excitement of going on mission through Bible study, games, a ministry project, interactive missions fair displays and so much more.
Rotations include: Small Group Bible Study, Large Group Games/Ministry Project Activity, Missions Fair and Lunch*. Additionally, adults will have the opportunity to attend an hour-long conference designed to equip and encourage them as they seek to teach children about the gospel, salvation and the Great Commission.
Make your plans to join us this fall as we seek to learn what it means to “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15)

JAM Ministry Project:
This year JAM participants will partner with TBMB’s Christmas Backpack Ministry. In Tennessee, 22.4% of children live in poverty. For some of these children, a backpack from Tennessee Baptists may be all they receive for Christmas. Together we can make a difference in a child’s life, here’s how:
- Your group can bring Target or Wal-Mart gift cards that will be used to provide Christmas Backpack supplies where there are shortages.
- Your group can pack a Christmas Backpack and bring it to JAM. All zippered backpacks and gifts must be NEW items. No used or homemade items. No chocolate, nuts, knives or toy guns.
- Backpacks can include: Bibles, age appropriate toys, gift sets, hygiene items, candy (wrapped separately), one-size clothing items.
- Securely tie 2 ribbons to indicate gender and age of recipient to the backpack. (see KEY below)
- Blue = Boy
- Pink = Girl
- Purple = Ages 2-3
- Yellow = Ages 4-7
- Green = Ages 8-10
- Red = Ages 11-14
- White = 15-17
Example: Girl, age 6: A pink ribbon, and a yellow ribbon securely tied to the backpack.
