First Baptist Concord
Come and enjoy a morning with fellow worship leaders in a time of idea sharing, encouraging fellowship, and prayer support.
Worship Technology: Trends and Treasures
Worship technology is changing more rapidly than at any prior time in history. In-ear monitors, live streaming, digital consoles, stem-tracks…the list goes on and on. In this session, we’ll explore the diverse forms of worship technology, highlight potential uses, as well as discuss the pros and cons of each form of technology.
Passing the Torch: Mentoring in Worship Ministry
Those called to lead others in worship must regularly train future generations of worship leaders. What does that look like? In this session, we’ll discuss practical ideas and resources to assist us in the process of mentoring others. Participants are encouraged to share helpful practices from their own experience in worship mentoring.
Multi-Generational Worship Leadership
Though the “worship wars” have mostly ceased, generational musical and stylistic preferences are alive and well. And, yet, there is a growing movement encouraging multi-generational worship (aka, “multi-gen”). In this session, we’ll discuss practical ideas and resources to assist us leading multi-generational worship. Participants are encouraged to share helpful practices from their own experience in worship leadership.
