PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Come serve alongside a growing multi-cultural church plant, Living Faith Baptist, in Honolulu’s Chinatown! Living Faith is located in a typically low-income community with many immigrants primarily from Asia and Oceania and is the English congregation of Hawaii Chinese Baptist Church. As a summer intern, you will have opportunities to serve in the church’s growing children, youth, and college ministries with weekly activities, youth camp, and VBS. Interns will help organize/prepare events and go into the community to both pray with people and build relationships with students and families. In addition, you’ll have opportunities to be mentored on cross-cultural ministry, evangelism, and creating new outreach opportunities in our community. Optionally, interns with musical ability are encouraged to help lead worship and teach students in order to raise up the next generation of worship leaders.
