Project Description

Come serve in South Korea, traveling from city to city teaching English through various methods such as English camps and Vacation Bible School! Several schools in the country serve refugee youth as well as children of Asian migrant workers and children of Korean diaspora from Central Asia. These schools aim to provide English language learning opportunities for students, and students are eager to learn about English, American culture, and the Bible (usually these students’ English skills are at a beginner level). Some students are familiar with Christianity but lack knowledge of what a relationship with God should look like. These students could become powerful laborers for God’s work in this region and other unreached areas of Asia!

Summer Missionaries can build personal relationships while teaching English and can support these youth students (typically ages 10-15) through the fundamentals of the Christian faith (assurance of salvation, Bible reading, prayer, Scripture memorization). The team will serve approximately eight hours a day with one day off each week.
