ABOUT RANDY C. DAVIS:

Randy C. Davis

Dr. Randy C. Davis became the executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board in 2010 (formerly Executive Board of the Tennessee Baptist Convention) after 34 years of pastoral ministry, serving churches in Mississippi and Tennessee. Forever a pastor at heart, Davis feels most blessed that more than 100 young men under his leadership have entered the ministry during that time.

Davis has a passion for evangelism, discipleship and stewardship. Both FBC Morristown, Tenn., and FBC Sevierville, Tenn., increased annual Cooperative Program giving to approximately 10 percent during his ministry at those respective churches while contributions to both the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering also significantly increased under his leadership.

Davis is a graduate of William Carey College, Hattiesburg, Miss.; New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, La.; and Southern Baptist Center for Biblical Studies, Jacksonville, Fla. He has served as a board of trustee member for the International Mission Board and two Baptist universities. Davis and wife, Jeanne, have two adult daughters, Wendy and Beth, and four grandchildren.
