PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Join us for Moving Days in Quebec City, a project by IMB Quebec in collaboration with Church 180! Every July 1st, Quebec City becomes a bustling hub as leases expire, and people move into new apartments and homes. Summer Missionaries will help with physically moving items, delivering welcome baskets, and engaging in conversations that build community and connection. Moving Teams will include both American and local Quebec volunteers, fostering friendships and encouragement between students and local believers. Volunteers will receive training on Quebec’s culture and effective gospel conversations. Help us make a difference and meet practical needs during one of the city’s busiest times!
With less than 2% of the population professing to be followers of Jesus, Quebec City consists of people with diverse backgrounds. At the city’s core, the culture is quite secular and in need of the light of Jesus. Quebec City is vibrant with a rich cultural heritage that often feels European. Although many people speak English, French is the primary language and holds significant cultural value in the City.
