- Attend Send TN Orientation on May 17 & Debriefing on July 26
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Come be a light and a beacon of hope for kids who are needy, troubled, and under-resourced. You’ll have the privilege of sharing the Gospel with children who may have never even heard the name of Jesus, much less know who He is or what He has done for them.
Summer Missionaries will be staying in cabins with 6 to 8 children, mentoring them and helping lead them to Jesus through Bible study and activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, pontoon boat riding, and so much more. Camps run from 8am Monday mornings to Friday evenings around 5pm.
Girls’ Camp will take place June 3-28, and Boy’s Camp will take place July 1-26. During Boys’ Camp female Summer Missionaries will serve on support staff – serving in the kitchen, setting camp fires, helping get activities ready, setting up games, etc. During Girls’ Camp male Summer Missionaries will also serve on support staff. Training will take place May 28-31 before Camps begin.
