PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Does Disaster Relief ministry interest you? This is a great opportunity through the Missouri Baptist Convention to learn about and serve in various areas of disaster relief, such as chainsaw, flood recovery, mass feeding, childcare, shower/laundry, etc., all while growing professionally, personally, and spiritually. You will travel with a team of about twelve interns and be deployed throughout the States as needed. In the past, interns have worked at disaster sites in Missouri, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and many more! You’ll also be required to help prepare meals for the group throughout the summer. When the team is not deployed, you will return to the Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief Readiness Center in Jefferson City, Missouri to rest, maintain equipment, and work on projects.
