Our Mission
The theme that drives all of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board is “to make Christ known by serving churches and their communities.” As the camping ministry of Tennessee baptists, Tennessee Baptist Conference Centers exists to serve churches by providing a tranquil environment to connect with God and others at both of our locations.
Our Story
The Tennessee Baptist Mission Board established two camps to serve its churches in 1948. Still today, over 10,000 adults, youth, and children visit these sites each year. In the past ten years over 1,100 recorded decisions for Christ have been made and much impact for the kingdom of God in Tennessee and beyond.
Carson Springs:
Nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee, within driving distance of Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountains, Carson Springs gives you full amenities in the midst of rugged scenic splendor. With lodges, rustic campsites, 36 hotel-style guest rooms, and accommodations for 350, Carson Springs can accommodate groups of all sizes. Visit our mountain retreat.
Linden Valley:
Positioned alongside the winding Buffalo River in the scenic hills of Middle Tennessee, Linden Valley offers a beautiful setting for your group’s retreat or summer camp. Linden Valley can accommodate up to 400 in camp-style lodging and offers 40 hotel-style guest rooms. Enjoy time away by rocking on the porch overlooking the clear blue Buffalo River.

Our Difference
In 1948, Tennessee Baptists recognized the importance of retreating from the world and seeking God’s presence. Thus, Camp Carson and Camp Linden were born, now Carson Springs Conference Center and Linden Valley Conference Center.
Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Carson Springs is truly a place where you can experience God. With its scenic beauty and quiet stillness, Carson Springs is the perfect place to meet God. From the top of English Mountain, Carson Springs property overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains.
Linden Valley provides a special place for your group to come worship the Lord in a tranquil, riverside setting. The beauty of God’s world is evident while walking on the riverwalk, conversing with others while sitting in a rocking chair, or challenging yourself on the ropes course.
For 60 years the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board has provided a getaway through the Tennessee Baptist Conference Centers in which churches, as well as non-profit groups, can break away from the busyness of life to connect with God and others.
