Interested in volunteering at Tennessee Baptist Conference Centers?

Linden Valley and Carson Springs loves our volunteers. They allow us to do so much more than we can with just our staff. We primarily use volunteer teams in the fall and spring for construction, maintenance, painting, cleaning, landscaping and other tasks requiring multiple participants. We can also use couples or individuals to volunteer as staff to work during the summer. Let us know your skills and we can find a meaningful job for you!

Frequently Asked Questions

If I bring a volunteer team, where will I stay?

It depends on groups in the facility while you are here, time of year, your group’s needs and other factors. We will find a place for you to lay your head after a long day’s work.

Is there any charge for us coming as volunteers?

As hard as you will work, the least we can do is provide you lodging at no cost. We ask that your group make a contribution towards the food we will provide for you.

I want to volunteer for the summer. Where will I stay?

Bring your travel trailer and enjoy all the comforts of home. No home on wheels? We may have other housing options available.

Do I have to go through a screening process?

The safety of our campers is an utmost concern for us. We conduct a background screening on every adult staying on campus when minors are present, or we go to extreme measures to keep everyone separated. If you stay for a while and drive a camp vehicle, we will also need to conduct a motor vehicle screening.

I want to volunteer but I don’t know what I can do?

Let us know your skills, and we will figure out how you can use them at camp. We need writers, photographers, zoologists, sweepers, website reviewers, typists, paper shufflers, greeters, and the occasional herpetologist. So, give us a call!
